All it does is launch the built on Screen Sharing app. The same thing you get from Finder -> Connect to Server. I was hoping for an independent VNC implementation seeing as how the built in Mac version doesnt work well with many non-Mac VNC servers.

This app is a fraud. It just opens Apple’s Screen Sharing. To do that yourself, choose Go > “Connect to Server” in the Finder, and then enter vnc://[IPAddress] or vnc://[Name.Domain] in the Server Address field.
Simple launches: /System/Library/CoreServices/Screen Sharing.app
I see no point in this app. All it does is pass-on the request to Apples built-in VNC/Remote Desktop client.
